Principal Engineer

Qualifications
- Knowledge of ISO requirements, wildfire mitigation strategies, and competitive windows
- Experience with competitive RFPs in HV/EHV transmission line design and construction
- Proficiency in designing 500-765kV transmission lines and HVDC transmission line design
- Strong commercial/contract negotiation skills and excellent communication abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and over 7 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Early Stage Project Manager to define and influence project requirements within the Transmission Development Group
- Manage competitive transmission project proposals and support narrative and commercial strategy with stakeholders
- Apply diversified engineering principles to a variety of assignments and conventional projects
- Conduct system performance and reliability analysis, providing recommendations
